Lots of fun in LA this year with lovely people! I sat on a panel about analogue games with Elizabeth Sampat and Lyndsay Peters, where we did our best Parks & Rec impressions.
Seanna Musgrave and I also put on Dysforgiveness again (it originally ran at the IndieCade booth at E3), as part of the “Big Games” showcase.

I recently had the opportunity to create a game “Weaving/Dreaming/Exploring” for an event put on by the Mythos Council, in partnership with Game Education PDX, themed around the “Gods and Heroes” exhibition at the Portland Art Museum.
Marionette Soccer was featured as part of Come Out & Play’s 2015 Field Day, and my friend Lyndsey generously volunteered her time to make sure it ran, despite rain, bees, sweaty blindfolds, and broken hula hoops! She also took some amazing photos.
Dysforgiveness, the game that Seanna and I made for this year’s Ludum Dare, had a showing at the IndieCade booth at E3, as part of the “Big Games” session.
I can attest that there is no better way to spend a chilly Memorial Day morning than running around blindfolded in a park, being steered (via hula hoop) toward a kickball, flailing wildly and praying that your foot will connect. Marionette soccer! Continue reading
