Some Cool Things I’ve Done

I’ve visited 48 US states (the remaining two: Alaska and Hawaii).

I met JK Rowling at midnight in London, and she signed my copy of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.

I dug up a buried treasure in the middle of the Utah desert.

I’ve been crammed into a phone booth with 8 other people.

I won a Kindle playing a game of real-life bingo (and Felicia Day helped).

I stood on the spot in Kaysersberg, Alsace, France, where Satoshi took his self-portrait.

About Me

Digital culture fascinates me; I'm passionate about the way people interact, come together in communities and tell stories. I'm particularly in awe of the amazing creative potential made possible by the intersection of storytelling and technology, especially through games.

I have six years of formal experience building and moderating online communities, and am now working as in the field of online support and safety for youths, tweens and teens, and as a community manager.
